About the Big Camp...
The Legends for Charity camp out is all about helping others. In this world we are surrounded by things which distract us from what we truly are. As human beings, we all need to feel loved and cared for. Whether that be for each other or for our environment.
The camp out is designed to bring a group of people together who enjoy camping and share a common interest in helping others. The big camp is a group of mates getting together to donate time to raise funds for both Starting Over Dog Rescue and the Mansfield RSL.
The big camp is being run near Mansfield in March 2026. More details to follow.
How the event began?
Mr Buckaroonie, or 'Buck' as he is more commonly referred to, is a fellow youtuber with a happy, vibrant and genuine personality. Although the event technically began before Buck got involved, Buck is often associated with getting the event off the ground. The Legends for Charity campout has become a regular event bringing two great passions together. Every two years now, a new group is given the huge task of bringing camping and charity together as a way of helping others.
After at least two major events, Buck passed the batton on to a new group made up of three new Youtubers. Introducing Robert Jamieson (The Wanderer Aus), Robert Richmond (Australian Camping and Four Wheel Drives) and Stephen & Annie Fuller (SAW Adventures). After another succesful Queensland event in Goomburra 2024, the batton was then passsed on to two new Youtubers from Victoria.
Introducing Nas Foscarini (NasTime Adventures) and Ed Reddick (Ed's 4WD & Camping).
The latest event, will be held in the High Country 2026. See you there.
IMPORTANT: None of these people are being paid nor do they make any money from the camp out. 100% of profits are going to the selected charities for each event.
